     Alaska Adventures  was founded by Pilot/guide Charles Summerville in 1985 Guiding fishing and bear viewing from King Salmon Alaska and his wife Helen joined the management team in 1990.  A.A is based out of King Salmon Alaska, which is centrally located in the heart of the famed Bristol Bay Region and Katmai National Park. Our flagship Lodge Alaska Trophy Adventures Lodge on the Alagnak river is at mile 52 on the Wild & Scenic River.

          Charlie, Helen and there combined staff have over 60 years Alaskan guide experience, A.A is one of the few full service lodges  specializing in Wilderness Expeditions and Alaska Adventure Travel from there main lodge. Charlie & Helen both remain in the field all summer, While Charlie still actively guides 4-5 days a week  while Helen overseas the daily management of the lodge and administrative duties while raising there two daughters Stephanie 9 and Samantha 10.

        Being a seasoned Alaskan Bush pilot and continually guiding Wilderness Expeditions  Fly Fishing, Bear Viewing, Wilderness Raft Trips and Eco Outcamps for the past 20 years makes for a remarkable combination of experience and knowledge of Bristol Bay and Katmai Park. A.A offers 3- 5-7 day all-inclusive lodge packages, wilderness expedition camps  along with custom raft trips and wilderness X-treme unguided trips. Our specialty is to fill a niche in the Alaska  Adventure Travel market with the most remote high quality Expeditions for a reasonable price catering to small groups of serious sportsmen and outdoor enthusiasts.

        During our very successful 2005-2006 season ATA shot 2 National TV shows combined , they will be airing this fall, winter and spring on the Outdoor Channel and the Mens Channel.  Also  recently being recognized and Endorsed by the Orvis Company as one of there Alaska Orvis Endorsed fly fishing Expedition Companies.  With our 3 Prime waterfront locations on very productive Bear Viewing,  Salmon and Trout fishing rivers found throughout Alaska.
